Valentine's Day

Like Love, A boog of nonsense that makes sense?

Hi there,

For the love of art, knowledge, philosophy, how EYE perceive beauty, and the simple things in life, being an artist, educator, and a licensed beauty enthusiast, this is my visual journal. This is a space where I can share my love of things with you! This space is mine and yours. Please feel free to ask any questions that your mind wonders about. I hope you enjoy & have a lovely day!

Olga Razanova, Cover from Zaumnaia gniga, Collage, circa 1915

Since I’m submitting my first post on Valentine’s Day, I thought I post one of my favorite artworks from Russian Avant Garde artist, Olga Razanova. While her work has nothing to do with Valentine’s Day, this collage she created was on the cover of an illustrated book that is from an anti-art movement. While this book is just nonsense to a reader it speaks to a visual.

Sometimes we can’t explain things from art to love, am I right?

Happy Valentine’s Day to you!
